The internet generally includung Medium has been overrun by the insane desire to earn mega bucks while working solo. Not a bad idea though. But it is now being sorely abused to the point of creating a large scale mental health disaster.

Sanity will only return when people learn to build careers or regular businesses while working on their Internet side hustles.

We need to say it loud enough that a stable career and income is not failure. It is a foundation. You can always build on it.
